We showcased how Qualcomm's tech could detect stroke symptoms in medical patients
The Challenge
Qualcomm and Forward XP approached us to create a medical Virtual Reality app that would allow users to interact with a virtual patient and diagnose a stroke. The project needed to utilize Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 835 chipset and run on a test device that could be used at trade shows, events, and press reveals.
Our Solution
Once we got the latest Qualcomm test devices, our team quickly set to work building out a 3D scene, importing motion-captured actors, and coding in the Unity game engine. By integrating with the unreleased Leap Motion camera we were able to implement next generation hand tracking. Additionally, we developed a voice recognition system so that users can ask their patient questions.
